1. Connected weighing and sorting solutions

H+L designs a range of connected solutions dedicated to the measurement, monitoring and sorting of animals. These solutions enable the capture of precise and regular data, to leverage it, and the refinement of livestock management to optimize profitability.

This translates concretely into a range of complementary solutions that cover all the needs for measuring, monitoring and sorting animals:

  • OptiSCAN: mobile optical weighing system with 3D camera allowingthe weight of slaughter pigs to be measured directly in the pen without handling.
  • OptiSORT System: automated sorting and weighing system for large groups, based on continuous and autonomous 3D measurement.
  • Weighing platforms (CPM, BC 31) with connected indicators (S3, ID5000): fast and accurate weighing devices for measuring the individual weight of piglets at birth or weaning.

2. Precision Feeding

Precision feeding according to H+L relies on a set of technologies capable of automatically adapting the ration to the profile of each animal or subgroup of animals. It combines measurement tools (weight, consumption, growth), advanced identification systems, automated distribution devices, whether dry or liquid, as well as decision support algorithms.

By integrating these different technological building blocks, precision feeding makes it possible to adjust nutritional intake by subgroup, optimize dietary transitions and improve the technical and economic efficiency of livestock farms. 

This expertise is supported by a comprehensive range of complementary solutions:

  • OptiSORT Feeding: intelligent group feeding thanks to continuous sorting and differentiated feed distribution according to the average weight of subgroups.
  • Station F10: individualized ration for each pig, central element of the IRIS Feeding solution.
  • ESF60: personalized feeding of sows thanks to individual identification.
  • Feeder Q10: automatic adjustment of gilt ration based on their weight, body condition and planned insemination date.
  • High-precision liquid feeding machine: automated liquid distribution for precise feeding with small portions. The machine can be connected to OptiSORT to automatically adjust the feeding by subgroup.

Thanks to these technologies, feeding becomes more precise, more responsive and more economical, while improving growth, welfare and overall livestock performance.
